Deposit  Normally, you will have provided a deposit with the offer to purchase. Enter your deposit as a dollar amount.
Down Payment  How much downpayment will you be providing? Enter your down payment as a dollar amount.

As a general rule you can buy a home with as little as 5% downpayment. If the value of your downpayment is less than 20%, you will need to insure your mortgage with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) or other provider. The value of your down payment as a percentage will be calculated for you automatically.

Mortgage Administration Fees There may also be fees from your lender for setting up your mortgage, such as processing fees and bank inspections. Enter the fees here.
